The Expression Negative Control Lentivirus are replication incompetent, HIV-based, VSV-G pseudotyped lentiviral particles that are ready to be transduced into almost all types of mammalian cells, including primary and non-dividing cells. The controls package the same virus particles as the target expression virus, but they do not express a specific protein under the CMV promoter. The Expression Negative Control Lentivirus (G418) expresses the gene for aminoglycoside 3' phosphotransferase, which confers resistance to kanamycin, neomycin, and geneticin (G418).The Expression Negative Control Lentivirus (Hygromycin) expresses the gene for hygromycin B phosphotransferase, which confers resistance to Hygromycin. The Expression Negative Control Lentivirus (Puromycin) expresses the gene for puromycin N-acetyl-transferase, which confers resistance to puromycin.
